On death and dying
My 17th day with covid and tenth day in die covid-ward. In the last three days my passion to live started overcoming my fear to die...
If death only meant to close your eyes and wake up in a another room then surely I would be ready to leave...living a life with God. Because of His grace I have no fear of that....
But if death means leaving behind and letting go of people who became your whole life; leaving them behind in a world that is also not their home (Jim Reeves) and let them live with the empty space and tears you left, then I want to cling to this world and life with both hands and live for every grasp of oxygen.
Life is not something in a distant sphere far away from here - it is living with God and His people in this world He gave us...and every day and memory and breath of fresh air is a present not to be missed...
